First off a little introduction about me, I recently rediscovered my love for Lego,
after finding a bunch of my old bricks, which soon followed some visits to Toy Kingdom and National Bookstore, during my recent time in the Philippines, where I purchased a variety of Sluban vehicle sets.
I'm not a big player of computer games, apart from the occasional session of Minecraft, I'd rather be doing something creative off a computer.
This blog will document various brick projects I'm working on. The first of these projects is a small town. The town project will be placed initially on two base boards. The base boards I already had which I bought at a cheap store in Santa Rosa for about P400 for a pair (around £6 at the time).
In the UK I will be focusing on Block Tech and it's variants such as Wilko Blocks as they are readily available on the high street, I've seen Sluban in one store here but the selection wasn't great.
Wilko do a £4(Approx. P267) pick and mix of their bricks and after several considerations my first Blox purchase was a variety of green bricks and a few extra things like windows and a seat.

I'm thinking they could be the start of some kind of supermarket.
The second purchase from was an Ice Cream Van, I bought this to see how the people were, and after building it I'd like to buy more!

All in all I am very happy with the quality of the loose bricks and the ice cream van set. The Block people are certainty unique to other offerings out there but now having seen these figures I quite like them. Stay tuned for the completion of my first building!
